Privacy

Photasium is a browser photo editor. This page explains what that means for your photos and for data we collect about how the site is used.

Your photos

Open, edit, autosave, and export run in this tab. We do not provide a server that accepts, stores, or converts your images. Your files are not uploaded to us.

Autosave writes the canvas into this browser’s storage so you can reopen it here. Clearing site data deletes those documents.

Accounts

There is no sign-up and no user account. We do not keep a profile about you.

Site analytics

This site is a static website. The host that serves the pages may keep standard access logs (such as IP address, browser, and the page requested). We collect first-party stats, without tracking cookies, to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Your photos and their contents are never uploaded.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set tracking cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first. The light or dark theme preference is stored in this browser. Cookie and security controls from the network that serves the site (for example Cloudflare) may still apply.

Fonts

Some typefaces load from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google, which may see your IP address and browser details.

Background removal

The first time you use Remove background, the editor downloads a segmentation model from Hugging Face and its runtime from jsDelivr, and both services may see your IP address and browser details. The model then runs in this tab and keeps a copy in this browser’s cache, so your photo stays on your device.
